How I was called to Missions
God has worked in me so much for the past year and a half. Last year I was accpeted to the Swazi team after a trip i planned on going to Russia was cancelled. I Was devestated at first but God showed me that he wanted me in Swazi. While in Swazi i met the most amazing people on my team, i love them all sooo much. God showed me that there are people out there who are like me and love GOd as much as I do. The town i lived in at that time was a very rough neighborhood where people were very cruel and depressed. It really made me feel like all of us were family because we all got soo close. While in Swazi i felt GOd all the time and in everything i did more than i had ever before. I knew that he wanted me there and that he had a purpose for me in Africa. I was accepted to the Real Life trip back to Swazi and had to drop out because i had to change schools and the graduation date was after i would of left. I was upset and didn’t know what i was gonna do. Then God sent Kayla back to me and asked me if i wanted to go to Puerto Rico. I had exactly $1000 dollars left from Swazi and didn’t know what i was gonna do with it so when Kayla asked me i didn’t even hesitate i knew God had planned for me to be in Puerto Rico this summer. I want to finish college as fast as i can and go back to Swazi and teach in a school on a mission for a few years. well thats the plan for now.
Hebrews 13: 5-7 “Never will i leave you, Never will i forsake you” so we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; i will not be afraid: WHAT CAN MAN DO TO ME?”- This is my favorite verse i went through a lot of ups and downs in my faith and this verse helped me to come back, it showed me that regardless of what happens, there is nothing here on earth that can hurt me and nothing here matter, the most important thing is eternity with my Lord and Savior!!!
