God is my inspiration in everything that I do and I love him with all my heart! I go to my beloved church, Southside Baptist, every Sunday and every Wednesday I go to the youth division at 180. Currently I am trying to follow God where he guides me. So far it has led me to this mission trip this summer and also mentoring students within my church. A passion of mine has always been to help others out and just show love and kindness to them all. I know and believe full heartedly that this is why God is guiding me in this direction.

   My mom Jackie, who everyone calls Mama J, and my friends are also very important me. I have to give a lot of credit to my mom! She is the strongest person I know, having taken care of me and my 22 year old sister Tiffany. Ever since I was a child she was teaching me about the good Lord and I could not be more thankful for that! My friends are also very important to me. God blessed me with a wonderful boyfriend, who shares the same love for Christ as I, and we have now been together for over a year. God has also blessed me with wonderful (but crazy) friends. We like to have a good time whiling helping each other through the tough times. I'm so thankful for everyone God has put into my life. 

   Besides all of this I spend my time focusing on my school work and getting involved in clubs and other activities. One of my biggest hobbies is acting! Nothing gives me more thrills than getting on a stage in front of a huge audience. I also enjoy playing tennis, volley ball, billiards, camping out on the beach, or snuggling up under the covers to read a good book. 

   I am very excited to meet and get to know all of you and I pray that we all have an amazing trip together! Rejoice, we are going to Puerto Rico!!!
