I am 16 years old and I love to hike, camp, hunt, fish, and pretty much anything else outdoors. My family and I live in the beautiful mountains of western NC and I love all the outdoor activities here!
I am homeschooled which gives me plenty of time to have fun.
I am the oldest of 6 children. One of my sisters was adopted from Haiti and one of my brothers was adopted from Liberia. We are also in the process of adopting two more children from Liberia, so I love kids and have a heart for orphans.
Last summer I went on an AIM trip to Swaziland and God completely wrecked me for anything ordinary. While there, He placed a burden on my heart for the nations. My eyes and ears have now been opened to the calls of a world deeply in need of a Savior.
A quick fun fact about me- my full name is Ian Alexander Newman (I.A.N.) so my initials spell my name, which my parents didn’t actually plan. Can’t wait to meet all of you in Atlanta in a few short weeks.
