So, I am just going to throw it out there that I really love pink so all of my posts will be in this font color 🙂
Ok, seriously though, I have very broad expectations for this trip. I have been on mission trips before, but they were drastically dfferent and I have many new expectations for this one. Previously I have served on work teams in Mexico and Appalachia, which I think will be very different from what we will be doing in Puerto Rico. I expect to have the opportunity to minister face-to-face to the people in Puerto Rico and have a chance to use Spanish in a “new way”. I also think it will be a good time to meet new people (ya’ll) who are very passionate about their faith and wish to share and inspire in the same way I wish to.
And hopefully meet some precious little puerto ricans! (This is Leslie from Reynosa Mexico, two years ago. She was so cute, she called me Barbie)
