God has been doing great works through all of us young missionaries in Puerto Rico. On Monday we started ministry. My group started off the day by doing door to door visits in the neighborhood around us in the town of Isabella. We were able to make many new friends as well as pray with many different individuals and families. The one person who I remember the most was Tina. Tina is a native of Puerto Rico but lived in New York for many years. She moved back to Puerto Rico about a year ago, and told us how she has felt God calling her to go back to church, but every church she has attended has judged her by her clothes, makeup, and other physical qualities and not who she is on the inside. As we were leaving we prayed with her and she told us that while we were there she felt the Holy Spirit which she hadn’t felt in years. We then went back to the same area in the afternoon for a prayer walk, we stopped to see Tina one more time to tell her that we were going to take her and her son who is 12 to church with us on Sunday in Cabo Rojo. It was such a gift from God for him to lay her on our hearts. He spoke to all of us and used all of us to bring his lost children back into the kingdom. On Sunday God will be smiling as his children worship him together with new servants.
Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me.
